THE Independent National Electoral Commission – INEC, has declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party – PDP, Peter Mbah, as the winner of the March 18 governorship election in Enugu State.
Mbah won with a slight margin of 3,343 votes in the keenly contested election..
According to the result as announced by INEC Returning Officer of the state for the election, Prof Maduebibisi Ofo-Iwe, Mbah polled 160,895 votes.
Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party – LP came second while APGA’s Frank Nweke was distant third.
