The Katsina State Police Command has offered to give any individual who provides valuable information that will lead to the arrest of two bandit kingpins operating within the state, the sum of fifty million naira.
Notorious kidnappers, Modi Modi and Jan Kare are mostly operating in the regions of Kankara and Safana Local Government Areas of the State.
Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, said on Sunday, that the reward is a testament to the Command’s dedication to ensuring justice prevails, adding that the issue of security is a collective responsibility.
“Together, we can make our State safer for all residents,’’ Aliyu said in a statement.
“The safety and well-being of the residents of our dear state are of paramount importance, and the Katsina State Government and Katsina State Police Command, as well as other sister security agencies in the state, are committed to taking decisive action against criminal elements that threaten the peace and stability of the inhabitants of the state.
