PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu, says he will not bow to attempts by political adversaries to force him out of office.
Tinubu made the comment in a statement, where he reaffirmed his determination to seek re-election.
“They tried to get rid of me, but I refused to go. I am a very stubborn politician,” he said. “I will campaign for my second term, and I will win,” Tinubu said.
The President said that his competitors are exploiting Nigeria’s security situation to weaken his administration and advance their political interests.
“You were played into the hands of brigades, including my old enemies, who want to use insecurity to push me out,” he stated.
Tinubu’s comments underscore the increasingly charged political climate, with indications pointing to a fiercely contested race for power.
