THE presidential candidate of the African Action Congress – AAC, Omoyele Sowore says there’s a plot by the Nigerian judiciary to prevent him from contesting in the 2027 general elections.
Sowore, who made this allegation on Friday, specifically pointed accusing fingers at the Federal High Court, saying the court was trying to convict him to stop his ambition.
The Human Rights activist told journalists after his trial at the court, that he would be automatically disqualified from running for any political office in Nigeria if he is convicted.
The AAC presidential candidate claimed that no one could get justice in a court where his counsel was ordered by the judge to kneel down.
“They want to convict me at all costs, so that I will be disqualified from contesting the 2027 election. That’s what it’s about.
Sowore is standing trial in defamation charges against President Tinubu.
The charges were brought against him by the Department of State Services, DSS.
