SENATOR Lola Ashiru is now the new Deputy Leader of the Senate. The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has announced.
Ashiru, who represents Kwara North at the red chamber replaces now Minister of WorksSenator, Senator Dave Umahi.
The new Deputy Leader of the Senate was previously the Deputy Whip of the Senate. His former position has now been taken over by Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi, representing Ebonyi North.
