Sit-at-home: Miscreants Attack Ebonyi Community, Burn Vehicles, Other Valuables

PROPERTIES including vehicles and motorcycles were set ablaze by miscreants who appeared to be enforcing a sit-at-home order at Ezzangbo community in Ebonyi State.

Reports say the attackers, who stormed the hometown of Simon Ekpa, a self-acclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra Government in Exile, operated in a Sienna bus.

The hoodlums, about eight, chased away traders and market women as they chanted “No more markets in Igbo land”.

A video, which trended on social media earlier on Monday, showed vehicles, motorcycles, stores and other properties and valuable items going up in flames as residents scampered for safety.
