Super Eagles Win First Friendly in 5 Years

NIGERIA recorded their first win in an international friendly in five games, after beating Mozambique Monday.
The Super Eagles managed the 3-2 victory without a goal from hitman Victor Osimhen.
The win came three days after the team forced Saudi Arabia to a draw courtesy Mohammed Kanno’s deflected freekick – at the death.
Prior to their last two games, the Super Eagles had played fifteen friendly matches, losing seven as they managed to draw eight.
