Terrorists Kill One, Kidnap Scores in Borno Attack

A mosque Imam has been killed and more than 100 residents, including women and children, kidnapped by suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters in Ngoshe town in Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.
Security sources said heavily armed attackers struck shortly after residents broke their Ramadan fast on Tuesday.
According to reports, the gunmen also set parts of the community on fire while leaving, forcing many people to flee.
There has been no official statement from authorities on the incident.
