NIGERIAN President, Bola Tinubi, has gathered service chiefs and other heads of security agencies in the country for an emergency meeting on Monday.
In attendance were the Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa; Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja, his Navy counterpart, Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar.
A number of Ministers attended, including the Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru.
After the meeting, Tinubu is billed to travel to India later on Monday to attend the G20 summit.
