Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, has announced a reshuffling of the Minister-delegates.
The Special Adviser to the President, Ajuri Ngelale, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday.
Ngelale explained that portfolios have now been reassigned.
He pointed out that Mr. President has re-allocated Engr. Abubakar Momoh from the Federal Ministry of Youth to the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta Development.
According to the statement released, the Federal Ministry of Youth will, soon, be re-allocated to a Minister-Designate.
The Ministers-Designate from the Federal Ministries of Transportation, Interior, and Marine & Blue Economy have been re-allocated as listed below:
Sa’idu Alkali is reallocated to Honourable Minister of Transportation.
Bunmi Tunji-Ojo is re-allocated to Honourable Minister of Interior.
Adegboyega Oyetola is re-allocated to Minister of Marine & Blue Economy.
Also, the 2 Ministers of State in the Oil and Gas sector will now be domiciled in the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources with the following appointments:
Ekperipe Ekpo as the Minister of State (Gas), Petroleum Resources and Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri as the Minister of State (Oil), Petroleum Resources.
The Federal Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management has now been approved as the Federal Ministry of Environment.
The changes listed above take immediate effect by virtue of the President’s approval.
