PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu says he will deploy the entire machinery of state power to ensure adequate security of the lives and property of the Nigerian people.
President Tinubu made the promise at the graduation ceremony of the Senior Course 45 of the Command and Staff College in Jaji, Kaduna State on Friday.
He said that his administration is committed to equipping the Nigerian Armed Forces to enable them to discharge their responsibilities of protecting the lives and property of the citizens.
Tinubu also drew the attention of the military to the sensitive nature of the present security environment, saying it requires new strategies and practices to confront unconventional Forces.
Tinubu noted that contemporary and emerging security threats in the West African subregion demanded that member states must work together to bring peace to the Lake Chad region.
