GOVERNOR Babajide Sanwo-Olu has suspended campaign activities ahead of next week’s election following the accident involving a train and a bus conveying Lagos State civil servants on Thursday.
Governor Sanwo-Olu disclosed this while giving an account of his visit to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital where most of the victims of the accident are being treated, via a Facebook post.
The governor, who is running for a second term in office, also said all flags would be flown at half-mast and all civil servants would work till 12 noon on Friday
He commended the team at LASUTH for expertly setting up an outdoor triage centre which he said has contributed to saving lives, speeding up injury level profiling and supporting immediate critical action.
