Trossard Bails Arsenal Out, as The Gunners Beat Everton 1-0

ARSENAL defeated Everton 1-0 away from home at Goodison Park to secure 3 points in the English Premier League (EPL) race.

The 1-0 victory was well deserved, with Arsenal being the better team by far.

The solitary goal for the Gunners came in the second half after Trossard scored in the 69th minute from a cutback from winger, Bukayo Saka.

Arsenal thought they had taken the lead in the first half through Gabriel Martinelli, but the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) chalked the goal off for offside.

Everton had only a single shot on target to highlight how much dominance the Londoners had in the game.

Arsenal Manager, Mikel Arteta, tweaked his squad a bit, with forward, Gabriel Jesus, relegated to the bench for Eddie Nketiah, while new signing, David Raya, was chosen ahead of Aaron Ramsdale in goal.

Despite the changes, Arsenal looked dangerous and confident all through the tie, with the win never in doubt.

The win now takes Arsenal to 4th position on the standings two points behind Manchester City in 1st.
