FORMER U.S.A President, Donald Trump is set to be arrested at a Georgia jail on Thursday.
Trump is facing a Georgia racketeering case and will probably have his mugshot taken.
The Ex President is, along with 18 other defendants, accused of conspiring to attempt to overturn the 2020 election result in the state of Georgia.
The arrest follows after Trump rejected an appearance at a primary debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The debate, which was televised, featured eight of his rivals for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
Trump has played down the four criminal charges levelled against him, describing it as “nonsense.”
He said this during a pre-recorded interview with former Fox News talk show host Tucker Carlson on the social media application, X.
Trump accused the Democratic President Joe Biden, to have “weaponized” the Justice Department to derail his Presidential ambition.
Trump will be arrested at the infamous Fulton County Jail in Atlanta on Thursday afternoon.
On his arrest, Trump made the following post his social media app, Truth: “NOBODY HAS EVER FOUGHT FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY LIKE PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP,” he posted.
Trump also posted: “PROUDLY BE ARRESTED.”
