CHELSEA suffered a shocking defeat in their first London derby of the season, losing 1-3 to West Ham in the Week 2 English Premier League game on Sunday.
The Hammers won 3-1 at their London stadium against their London rivals.
Goals from Aguerd, Antonio and a penalty from Pacqueta was enough to see of big money spenders, Chelsea.
Chelsea dominated the game but were shocked to go behind in the 7th minute through a corner nodded home by Aguerd.
Pochettino’s side went for a quick fire response and looked to have got it when, in the 9th minute, Jackson, after being through on goal, was hacked down by the West Ham Keeper, for a penalty.
The Video Assistant Referee, however, intervened and ruled offside. No penalty.
Chukwuemeka soon leveled for Chelsea in the 29th minute after dribbling one in the penalty area and hitting a ferocious shot past Areola on goal for West Ham.
By now, Chelsea were in the ascendency and Sterling was a real menace, earning his team a penalty in the 42nd minute.
Unfortunately, Enzo stepped up for the spot kick but missed.
Sterling continued to carry this Chelsea side and West Ham’s Emerson saw no other way to stop his marauding run in the 45th, than hack him down to earn a yellow card.
During stoppage time, Chelsea really should have taken the lead when Sterling drove into the box, cut back for Chilwell, whose shot was annoyingly blocked by a West Ham defender.
The half ended on a sour note for Chelsea after Chukwuemeka came off worse in a tackle and went out injured. Mudryk replaces him, but, after the interval.
1-1 was how things ended in the first half.
The second half started more of the same, but West Ham against threatened–Benrahma was through on goal but he shot wide. He was offside anyway.
In the 53rd minute, after a Disasi misplaced pass, Antonio was played through, shrugged off Colwill to shot into the bottom right corner to give West Ham the lead.
After mich pressure by Chelsea, the turning point came in the 67th minute when Aguerd bagged a second yellow for his tackle on Chelsea front man, Nicolas Jackson.
The opening goal scorer received his marching order, with West Ham one man down.
By now, underhand tactics were being adopted as the ball boys suddenly went missing once the ball went out.
Despite sustained pressure by Chelsea, West Ham still hit in the break in the 79th minute, with Bowen hitting the target unsuccessfully.
Colwill did shoot for Chelsea from outside the box in the 80th minute, but his shot was wide.
Chelsea soon missed a glorious chance in the 85th minute after Sterling’s cross fell to an unmarked Mudryk, who scuffed his shot way wide.
A rare West Ham move in the 1st minute if added time almost saw West Ham take the lead but Sanchez’s outstretched right leg denied Formals.
Madueke replied on the other end with a shot of his own that took a deflection before being parried by Areola for West Ham.

Calamity struck Chelsea again in the 4th minute of added time when new signing, Caicedo, brought down Emerson.
Pacqueta slot home the resultant spot kick to give West Ham a 3-1 lead.
Despite being the bookies favourites, West Ham pulled off a shock 3-1 win against Chelsea at the London Stadium to take all three points.
