Contrary to popular assumption that people’s happiness is tied to being married, Toke opined that many single individuals lead content and fulfilled lives.
On her X handle, she called for a mindset shift as the New Year 2025 approaches.
“Let that rubbish behaviour of thinking that single people are miserable, lonely or sad be left in 2024,’’ She wrote.
“There’re so many people in horrible situations (whatever you call it) that secretly wish they were alone, so let people be.”
